Les Sentiers is the northernmost premier cru site in the appellation of Chambolle-Musigny. Wines from this particular climat are often compared to those of nearby Morey-Saint-Denis, thanks to their concentrated and powerful structure. Groffier’s expression comes from 80-year-old vines rooted in clay soils and is vinified with 100% whole clusters prior to aging in wood, ⅓ of which is new.

Bonnes-Mares is one of Burgundy’s most recognized and powerful grand cru sites. While most of the cru sits in Chambolle-Musigny sandy soils, a small portion of it falls into neighboring Morey-Saint-Denis. This coveted cru is known for producing concentrated, big-boned wines that can undoubtedly withstand decades in the cellar. Sourced from 80-year-old vines and crafted with 100% whole clusters and aged in 50% new oak, Groffier’s expression is medium-bodied, mouth-filling, and marked by fine-grained tannins.
