CLachaux obtains the fruit for this wine from a new supplier who is not only farming organically, but is also adapting much of the vineyard work to Lachaux’s signature methods. Expect a ripe core of plum, black cherry, and rose petal-driven undertones to lead to a flavor-packed finish.

Charles Lachaux
Inspired by the great Lalou Bize-Leroy, Charles prunes all of his vines using the guyot poussard method, which encourages sap flow and allows them to grow wild. In the cellar, Charles uses generous amounts of whole clusters, gentle extraction and judicious use of new oak. The resulting wines are vivacious, ethereal, and transparent of the places from which they come.
