Exceptional Craftsmanship
Filled in 1997 and matured for over 26 years, this special Samaroli-selected cask offers a rich medley of dark cherries, plums, and warm spices. Its palate reveals baked apple, vanilla, and nutmeg notes for an exquisite tasting experience.
Unique Maturation
Matured in first-fill, seasoned Sherry butt casks from Macallan, this expression celebrates the collaboration between Samaroli and the prestigious distillery. It's a unique edition that merges two exceptional crafts for an extraordinary whisky.
In the world of whisky, where Scotch whisky production and bottling were historically dominated by Scotland and the United Kingdom, Samaroli, an Italian entrepreneur, boldly entered the scene in 1968, shattering the established norms. Breaking away from the UK monopoly, Silvano Samaroli founded his eponymous company to meet the growing demand for quality Scotch whisky in Italy during the country's prosperous years.
Antonio W Bleve took the reins in 2008, continuing the meticulous work of sourcing, blending, and bottling increasingly rare cask releases, with some editions limited to as few as 400 bottles or even less.
In 1979, Samaroli unveiled his inaugural whisky lineup, sourced from Cadenhead, Scotland's oldest independent whisky bottler, featuring now iconic watercolor labels a testament to Italian design.
The introduction of limited-edition cask strength bottles in the subsequent years solidified Samaroli's reputation, becoming highly sought-after by connoisseurs and collectors worldwide. Transitioning into the 1980s, this style of whisky became Samaroli's primary release, showcasing his dedication to excellence.

As an independent bottler in the modern market, Samaroli remains committed to seeking uniqueness and quality. The house consistently releases a limited number of bottles each year, aiming to create distinctive expressions with every iteration, celebrated for their exceptional character and recognisable design.
